Kesichev Misty Mustachio

Misty is one of our Startlight Ridge foundation does and is, importantly, our lap goat. She was born in 2023, and ever since the day she came home to us, her favorite thing is for me to sit in a lawn chair so she can get in my lap. She loves her people–I think this is in part because she is the only one of our herd that didn’t come with an immediate relative, so she bonded very strongly with us.

Misty freshened for the first time this spring 2026. She not only gave us triplets but she did so completely unassisted and proved to be a wonderful mother right away. She is dam raising all three kids and all are growing so well. Further, it only took her two days to figure out how to behave well on the milk stand for me. We couldn’t be more proud of her!
