Misty is our lap goat. She was born in 2023–we exposed her in fall of 2024 and expect her first kidding spring 2025! Ever since the day she came home to us, her favorite thing is for me to sit in a lawn chair so she can get in my lap. She loves her people–I think this is in part because she is the only one of our herd that didn’t come with an immediate relative, so she bonded very strongly with us.

I cannot wait to see Misty’s first kids this spring and see how she does with milk production–should be stunning!
